Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place this Thursday (21st May 2009) at 7.00pm in Twyford Village Hall. This Parish Meeting will be followed by the Parish Council Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm. – everyone is invited to attend either or both meetings. Grant Available - Households and Flood Defences

Melton Borough Council are offering grants of up to 75% of the cost
of professionally installed, suitable flood protection devices up to
a maximum of £750. The householder must be able to provide
reasonable proof that their dwelling has been flooded internally
since April 1998. Details of the scheme can be obtained from your
parish councillors or parish council clerk or from Mr. Ramon Selvon,
Principal Assistant, Street Scene and Environment, Melton Borough
